Privacy
Last updated 6 August 2026. LexiFocus is pre-launch; this page covers this website only. We'll publish a full product privacy policy before anyone's child uses LexiFocus.
What this site collects
If you fill in the early-access form, we store the email address you typed, which of the three roles you picked, the time you submitted, and the country code Cloudflare attaches to the request. Nothing else.
Your reading-control settings — font, spacing, colour, ruler — are saved in your own
browser's local storage under the key lexifocus.demo.v1. They never leave your
device and we cannot read them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What this site does not do
- No advertising pixels, no tracking scripts, no session recording
- No third-party analytics — not Google Analytics, not anything else
- No cookies of any kind, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss
- No requests to any domain other than lexifocus.org — fonts are served from here
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your email address
Children
This website is directed at parents, caregivers, and educators — not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. When the product itself launches, children's accounts will be created and controlled by a parent or a school, and we will publish our COPPA and FERPA commitments before that happens.
Where the data goes
Early-access emails are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and may trigger one notification email to us. We keep them until launch outreach is complete, and then we delete them. Ask us to remove your address at any time and we'll do it — no questions, no retention period.

Accessibility
We're targeting WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site and the product. This site has been built and manually tested against that target; it has not yet been audited by an independent third party, and we won't claim conformance we haven't had verified.
What we've done here
- Every function is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, including the focus ruler
- A visible focus indicator on every interactive element, in all four colour themes
- All text meets at least 4.5:1 contrast; interface elements meet 3:1
- The page survives the WCAG 1.4.12 text-spacing override without clipping
- Reflows to a 320 px viewport, and to 400% zoom, without horizontal scrolling
prefers-reduced-motionis honoured, and there's a toggle for people whose operating system setting doesn't reflect what they want- Semantic landmarks, one level-one heading, no skipped heading levels
Known gaps
- No independent audit or VPAT yet — planned before the product launches
- The focus ruler is off by default on touch devices, where it competes with scrolling
Found a barrier? Email sanaa@lexifocus.org and tell us what happened and what you were using. We'd genuinely rather know.
